Garden Update

We still don’t have all of our seeds in the ground, but we’re getting there.  With the wonky weather shifting from 85 degree days to 45 degree days, I’m not the only one who can’t decide if it’s summer!  The only plant that’s decided it’s ‘grow’ time is the crab grass and mint that’s taken over a chunk of each garden.  At least at this time of the year, weeding still has some appeal.

In the next week we’re hoping all those plants that are just starting to peak up will take off!

(thanks mom for letting me share your garden – in the photo above)

How’s your garden growing?

Each Friday I share photos from our garden with an update about what we’re doing, what’s growing, and what we’re eating.  I invite you to come play along, I love seeing what others are trying.  You can join the fun in 2 ways:

  • If you blog, I welcome you to write a post or share a post from that week about what’s growing in your garden
  • If you aren’t a blogger, I invite you to join my gardening flickr group and share photos of your garden from this week
  • And last – if you don’t want to blog or share photos, just follow along and check out all the links and photos and maybe share a comment with your own gardening experience from the week

  1. So excited for you! The weather is crazy, huh? Here, it's consistently in the 90's, so summer has definitely hit.
Sharing a post from Farm School this week!
    Your garden will be spectacular!
