Hi, my name is Angi and we have a small, 1.5 acre homestead along the Gulf Coast of Texas.  We’ve only been on this property for a little over a year and are in the process of turning it into our forever home.  After 14 addresses in 20 years we’re ready for a forever home.  I blog at SchneiderPeeps and have recently written The Gardening Notebook ebook. 

Kristi, a homeschooling mom, lives in Riverside County, Southern California with her husband and two of her three children. Though she has been gardening for years, she and her family have not always sought to live closer to the land. As the homesteading movement began to pick up speed, she and her husband became more interested in vegetable gardening, planting fruit and nut trees, and raising laying hens and rabbits–all on .18 of an acre. Eventually Kristi’s family would love to move to a larger parcel of land, but for now, Kristi is contented to learn all about homesteading, eeking out every bit of knowledge she can and blogging about much of it at Let This Mind Be in You. Hello! My name is Marci. We live in an old rock farmhouse on one acre.
There are two greenhouses, a vegetable garden, herbs, several flower beds,
lots of hobbies and too many pets. Thankfully, our neighbors love us! They
say being our neighbor is like living next door to Old MacDonald and Martha

Marine Corps Veteran, brain surgery survivor and mother of two active boys, Krystyna stays busy helping her husband (and best friend!) with the daily demands of life on the farm. Kari Spencer is a Master Gardener volunteer and she teaches gardening and urban farming classes at an all-edible plant nursery, Root Phoenix.  With her husband and four daughters, she operates The Micro Farm Project, a tiny urban farm in middle of Phoenix, where gardens and small livestock animals provide her family with fun and food. She loves to experiment with new ways to create a more self-reliant and sustainable lifestyle, and invites others to join her on the journey.

Leslie Colin Tribble lives in a small town in northwestern Wyoming and has just under an acre lot on the edge of the city limits.  She’s recently begun her homestead journey, but has big plans for her little spot!  She blogs about nature and educational activities at Sagebrush Lessons.

Hi there! I am Snooks, wife to a really good guy who spoils me often and Mom to an awesome boy who effectively stole my heart the day he was born.
